You might think that spot in the house where people spend more time will be a daily or room family. But in reality, the kitchen is the room most used in most homes. A recent survey of national and Kitchen Bath Association found that a staggering 220 billion U.S. dollars spent in 2007 for reconstruction and construction of new kitchens and bathrooms with an average of six out of every seven kitchens is modeled. One of every seven were completely new construction. For 2008, the Association projects that 6.9 million existing kitchen will be remodeled.
As for bathrooms, NKBA found that nearly 75 percent of all spa already built has changed.
